Workshop Drawings in Dutch Collections at Museum Catharijneconvent Utrecht

On 14 June Museum Catharijneconvent, Delineavit et Sculpsit and Ars Graphica Dutch and Flemish organized an afternoon filled with interesting talks about current research projects on Old Master drawings in the Netherlands. Reason for this workshop was the publication of issue 43 of Delineavit et Sculpsit, which is a catalogue of highlights from the Catharijneconvent’s collection of Old Master drawings, written by Prof.em. Ilja Veldman and Dr. Yvonne Bleyerveld of the RKD: ‘Hoogtepunten uit Museum Catharijneconvent: Nederlandse tekeningen 1549-1806’.

Over 70 international drawing experts came together to listen to the interesting talks given by the two authors, Alexander de Bruin from the Noord-Hollands Archief in Haarlem, and Ilona van Tuinen from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
