SALA DEL COLLEZIONISTA IN PAVIA
The Musei Civici in Pavia have just opened a new permanent section dedicated to Marquis Malaspina di Sannazzaro (1754-1835), which includes his collection of prints that will be put on rotating display.
'THE PAPER PROJECT' WORKSHOP
The Potential of Technical Studies and Conservation for Prints and Drawings Curatorship is an intensive three-day international workshop to support early and mid-career curators in the fields of prints and drawings. The program is scheduled to take place July 9-11, 2019 at the Harvard Art Museums in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The workshop is funded by the Getty Foundation through The Paper Project: Prints and Drawings Curatorship in the 21st Century.

PHOTOGRAPHY CORNER
Save the date for this IGIIC (Italian group international institute for conservation) conference on conservation practices: Il restauro della fotografia in Italia dagli anni '50 al contemporaneo (Bologna, Accademia di Belle Arti, 1 February 2019). The journal Dagerotyp. Studia z historii i teorii fotografii (Daguerreotype. Studies in the history and theory of photography) launched a CFP (No. 2 (26) / 2019): Photography and power (deadline 28 February). Among the topics listed are: Photography and archiving/museum strategies; Photography through the prism of feminist discourse. All details here.
