This is the Italian national institute for the conservation of works on paper, mainly archives and old books. It is planed to visit the conservation lab and learn more about their method of conserving works on paper. Learn more about the institution: http://www.icpal.beniculturali.it/indice.html

Monday 5th May 2014, 10 am – visit of the Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica (Rome). Event organized with the association RAHN (Rome Art History Network - www.romearthistnet.com).

For this occasion, we will visit the different departments of this unique institution: the calcoteca, the national printing office, the print and drawing room and the restoration laboratory.
